The new standard in care full of vitamins for your skin

We already know pHformula’s ABC product line: VITA A, VITA B3 and VITA C – powerful moisturizers that each focus on a specific vitamin. But now there is an impressive addition to this line: VCR 24 hour cream. This innovative formula combines the best of Vitamin C, a Vitamin D Booster Complex and advanced biotic ingredients. The result? An effective cream that not only nourishes your skin, but also balances it in the face of harsh conditions. Before we continue with this unique formulation, we’d like to discuss what Vitamin D means for the skin.

Vitamin D is more than just the “sunshine vitamin”-it is an essential building block for healthy skin.

Scientific research shows that vitamin D plays an important role in strengthening the skin barrier, regulating inflammation and accelerating skin repair. It acts as a natural protector against external harmful influences and helps skin remain calm, strong and resilient. In addition, it stimulates the production of antimicrobial peptides, helping to improve the skin’s resistance. A deficiency can lead to dull, irritated or sensitive skin-extra reason to apply this vitamin through skin care as well.

What exactly is the VCR 24-hour cream?

The name kind of gives it away: VCR 24 hour cream stands for Vital C Rebalance. This cream is designed based on the needs of today’s skin. In other words: what does the skin really need? Cosmetic scientists agree: protection against external influences, support of the skin barrier and a powerful boost of natural glow. And that’s exactly what pHformula VCR 24 hour cream does: all in one rich, silky moisturizer. Tempting, isn’t it?

Vitamin C makes it complete

Central to the formula is Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, a stable and effective form of Vitamin C that penetrates deep into the skin without irritation. Combined with the D Booster Complex, the skin is “reactivated,” so to speak, at the cell and barrier level. This is important because more and more research confirms that vitamin D plays a crucial role in soothing the skin, strengthening its resistance and preventing inflammation.

But the power of VCR goes beyond vitamins….

Triple Biotic Complex: nutrition for your skin flora

A healthy microbiome is essential for radiant skin. This is why the VCR cream contains a Triple Biotic Complex, consisting of pre-, pro- and post-biotics. These keep your skin flora functioning optimally, resulting in a natural defense mechanism against harmful external influences. This clever approach not only helps restore the balance of the skin, but also makes the VCR cream ideal for sensitive or troubled skin.

Hydration that lasts: 24-Hour Moisturising Complex

Well-hydrated skin looks plumper, smoother and healthier. The VCR cream contains a 24-Hour Moisturising Complex that provides instant comfort as well as long-lasting moisture retention. This also stimulates the natural production of collagen-an essential component in the fight against skin aging.

Who is the VCR cream intended for?

The VCR cream is suitable for all skin types, but in particular is a relief for:

  • Dry or tight skin
  • Sensitive or easily irritated skin, with possible redness
  • Skin with beginning signs of aging
  • Anyone who wants to strengthen their skin barrier and regain their natural glow

Use and combination

The cream is perfect to integrate into your daily routine, both morning and evening. Use it as a finishing step after cleansing and possibly a serum. The formula also works excellently with other products from the pHformula recoveries and serums, for a holistic approach to your skin needs.

VCR cream: your daily boost for balance, clarity and comfort

With the VCR cream, pHformula harmoniously brings science and skin care together. The result is a luxurious cream that not only protects and moisturizes your skin, but also actively helps to restore its natural balance and radiance.

Do you really want to understand and care for your skin? Then the VCR cream is your new favorite in the bathroom cabinet!

The very latest and most promising invention in the world of antiaging and skin rejuvenation are exosomes. The trend is promising and has a lot of medical background when it comes to serious diseases, but for the aesthetic industry it is new. After innovative and forward-thinking countries such as Korea and the U.S., now Europe too seems to be tackling exosomes. But what exactly are these popular exosomes?

Cell Communication

Exosomes are small vesicles secreted by cells that play an important role in cell-to-cell communication. Indeed, exosomes transmit essential information that allows various biological processes in cells to run smoothly. Thanks to their regenerative, immunoregulatory and anti-inflammatory properties, exosomes are widely used in regenerative medicine.

Nowadays, exosomes are also increasingly used in aesthetic medicine because of their exceptional cell rejuvenating properties. However, in Europe and many other countries, the use of human cells in cosmetic products is prohibited. Therefore, the Spanish laboratory INNOAESTHETICS, has developed INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN: a 100% synthetic product that perfectly mimics the action and properties of natural exosomes, but without the use of human, animal or plant sources.

NARBEX™ technology

This breakthrough has been achieved thanks to the NARBEX™ (Non-Animal Regenerative Bioengineering Exosome) technology developed by the R&D department of INNOAESTHETICS. Meanwhile, this breakthrough has already attracted a lot of attention worldwide, since until now the synthetic counterfeiting of exosomes seemed to be impossible.

This development came about thanks to essential amino acids involved in the composition of collagen, elastin, DNA and glutathione, as well as cell repair. These amino acids were assembled into peptide chains in the lab. Then the pH is adjusted: first lowered until the protein chains coalesce into a gel-like substance and clump together. Then the pH is gradually increased, causing the proteins to cleave into ultrafine nanoparticles. These nanoparticles function as a true cellular messenger that transmits information in the form of a command to the cell, stimulating it to work optimally.

This property gives INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN a multi-target character, offering a breakthrough solution to maintain youthful skin or improve visible signs of aging, even on the scalp. This has since been substantiated by the clinical studies done where the positive results are remarkable. Whether reducing wrinkles, treating hyperpigmentation or alopecia, or dramatically improving skin quality, INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN results speak for themselves.

The future of anti-aging

Every skin specialist can attest to it: the future of antiaging and skin rejuvenation is broader than ever. Where previously it was just about fighting wrinkles and tightening the skin, we now see the Pro- aging trend on the rise. It is not only about fighting wrinkles and sagging skin, but the skin is treated as a whole where skin sensitivity, redness, pigmentation and overall skin condition are treated. Gone are the days of overfilled and overcorrected faces (overfilled face syndrome) with fillers: finally, we know that fillers alone don’t fix your skin. People want an overall younger-looking and healthy, radiant skin with long-lasting results. This gives the skin specialist more treatment options: exosomes combined with microneedling or devices gives a total approach in the deeper skin layers without traumatizing them. And the result? Healthy, glowing skin that produces healthy collagen for months to come. You want that too, don’t you?

Synergy Skin Vitali-3

Vitality of the skin: the desire of all of us. Not for nothing are billions of euros spent on skincare products. In this, the experience of a luxurious feeling still has the main role, but skin improvement and anti-aging is getting an increasingly large share within this expenditure. Especially the demand for skin improvement products with accompanying treatments is on the rise. For an obvious reason: everyone knows by now that there is a lot of difference between products available on free sale versus a scientifically based skin improvement product. And the accompanying treatment gives these products just that extra something that makes the results unparalleled, especially if your goal is skin improvement and anti-aging.

Purchasing skin care products on your own without a specific goal in mind, or simply using the wrong products can backfire. The role of the skin specialist is incredibly important. Reading as well as understanding the skin is essential. There are also basic principles within skin care and skin improvement that you have to respect: the skin is an organ with its own identity. If you don’t respect it, you will get skin problems. If you want to solve these skin problems, then the three golden steps according to Australian Synergy Skin are the first step to healthy and radiant skin. But what are these three golden steps?

Before I explain how Synergy Skin gets skin healthy, I’d like to refer you to more in-depth information about the Synergy Skin brand. Want to know more about this science-based skincare brand? Through this link you can read all about the uniqueness of Synergie Skin.

And now back to Synergy Skin’s three golden steps. Off we go…

a healthy skin flora: the skin is a walhalla of good and bad bacteria and both are needed for a healthy habitat. So the first step to healthy skin resistance is: more nutrition for the healthy bacteria allowing them to multiply, while putting the bad bacteria at rest.

Synergy Skin Dermiotic

Synergy Skin has developed Dermiotic for this purpose: a specific serum that balances the microbiome on the skin, soothes, softens and saturates the skin. Just 3-4 drops are enough for face and neck and a heartfelt advice: are you a glow- lover? An extra drop and you’re hooked!

  • optimal moisture balance is a requirement for healthy skin metabolism.

Synergy Skin HyalaVive

Synergy Skin has developed a very special product for this purpose: HyalaVive. The three types of hyaluronic acid in this product ensure an optimal moisture balance in and on the skin and fills in superficial lines for a smoothing effect. An added bonus: this product soothes redness and suppresses cell inflammation. A minimal amount of one pump on Synergy Skin Dermiotic gives your skin moisture, vitality and suppleness.

Learn more about Synergy Skin HyalaVive in this link(https://www.nononsensebeauty.nl/synergie-skin-hyalavive/)

  • The skin is a protective organ that keeps all foreign substances out of the body. To support this protective function, it is important to give the skin an extra protective filter with a moisturizer.

Synergy Skin HyDrolock

This protective cream is not only a rich moisturizer, but also fights free radicals to suppress inflammation. The skin barrier gains enhanced defenses against harmful external influences, allowing the skin to function better in all weathers. Synergy Skin HyDrolock is suitable as a day and night cream for dehydrated to demanding skin.

The three golden steps to healthy skin are essential if you want to upgrade your skin to a healthy level in a considerably short time. Adding mild cleansing and a sunblock (like my favorite Synergie Skin ÜberZinc, see this link https://www.nononsensebeauty.nl/synergie-skin-uberzinc/ ) gives discerning skin the perfect skin care routine.

Good news

Synergy Skin has released the three products (Dermiotic, HyalaVive and HyDrolock) in a set: Vitali-3 Collection. This hydrating and skin barrier restoring trio of carefully selected skincare products are a breath of fresh air for (temporarily) sensitive skin. Besides chronic skin sensitivity, this set provides an excellent treatment protocol for at home after invasive skin treatments such as laser, IPL or other treatments such as microneedling or peels.

Own experience

By now I had been using Dermiotic and HyalaVive for several weeks, and yet heard from several people that my skin has a remarkably fantastic glow (seriously, even with online meetings in pictures). My skin also reacts less sensitively after shaving, for example, and is less red during the day. Adding Synergy Skin HyDrolock (only at night in my case) gives an extra comfortable feeling. Presumably, during the cold winter days, my skin will also appreciate this moisturizer during the day, but for the end of August and first week of September, it is unnecessary for my combination but sensitive skin.

Do you want to give your skin a transformation in a positive sense and renew your skin, hydrate it to the maximum and make your skin barrier healthy? Then the Vitali-3 Collection is really for you!

Advanced Technology for skin problems and anti-aging

**INNOAESTHETICS** is constantly working to develop “smart” and more effective treatments to solve specific aesthetic conditions and skin problems. In addition to developing skincare products with the latest active ingredients, the Spanish laboratory develops innovative technologies to maximize the effectiveness of skincare products and treatments. Want to know in detail how? Then read on soon, as Innoaesthetics shares all their secrets in this article.

Smart GPS® for better recording

Because the proper absorption of a product through the skin layers is one of the greatest challenges for cosmetic scientists and experts, the Innoaesthetics laboratory has developed **Smart GPS® (Guidance Performance System)** – an advanced technology that enables better absorption of active ingredients through the stratum corneum (the stratum corneum).
By mimicking the physicochemical properties of the human skin surface in a unique formula, Smart GPS® overcomes the skin’s natural resistance without damaging or adversely affecting the skin. This skin-friendly approach takes into account the skin’s natural function: to protect the body. Moreover, Smart GPS® transports the ingredients to specific cell groups where they achieve the maximum therapeutic effect. Thus, Smart GPS® ensures faster and better results. The active ingredients are also protected against degradation (decrease in function or effectiveness). So the full dose of actives enter the skin and contribute to the result. This smart approach can be found in all products and treatments.

Smart GPS®: a smart approach

Smart GPS has a clear goal: to create a perfect cooperation with the hydrolipidic film of the epidermis through the use of lipids that bind to the stratum corneum. These lipids are combined with hydrophilic actives that bind to keratinocytes. This creates a cooperation with the skin where there is a continuous film on the skin surface. This strengthens the skin’s barrier effect and makes the ingredients work better, because one thing we now know is that healthy skin starts with a healthy skin barrier.
A positive side effect is that TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss) is delayed while the skin remains optimally hydrated thanks to this skin-friendly and skin-enhancing filter on the skin.
Innoaesthetics and skin improvement
The lipids used also have a clear function. Because these lipids get between the corneocytes, active molecules can move to the middle layers of the skin, wherever you want to be when it comes to lasting skin improvement. In general, this allows for better action of the actives, deeper absorption of them and controlled dosing of actives with the right potency. The chance that the ingredients weaken during transport is thus eliminated with this. Personally, I find this very special: all the ingredients you pay a price for actually get into your skin and nothing gets lost along the way. Love it!

Smart GPS and science

Scientific research has proven that both hydration and comfort increase significantly in the short term. In addition to being able to mimic skin action, the highly cosmetically elegant Smart GPS is able to effectively transport the active ingredients of products for external use through the skin, resulting in visible results.

Features and Benefits of Smart GPS®

Besides being proven effective, Smart GPS has several advantages over other delivery systems. Here we have listed them all:

  • Smart GPS is completely safe and its components are biodegradable, so it is naturally absorbed by the skin. Irritation and hypersensitivity have never been shown in various tests to date.
  • Smart GPS functions as a bio-vector: active ingredients are targeted and delivered into the middle layers of the skin, allowing for faster and more targeted action.
  • Smart GPS enhances absorption through the stratum corneum and keeps the molecule stable during absorption. It also prevents unwanted diffusion and improves the effectiveness of the product.
  • 100% biodegradable, 100% body friendly, 100% safe.

Looking for an effective product or treatment that is, above all, safe and reliable? Then get informed about Innoaesthetics’ delicious and honest treatments and products.

MELINE® is the only professional brand that specializes in treating all types of pigmentation spots. Professional salon treatments with effective products for home use reinforce each other’s effect and ensure lasting results. All types of pigmentation spots in all ethnic backgrounds on both face and body are treated.

Pigmentation problems such as melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) or discolorations caused by hormonal imbalance can be treated with the MeLine treatment concept. Because the concept acts on the cell function in the skin, up to 95% of all pigmentation spots are reduced. The cell metabolism of the melanocyte (pigment cell) is decisive and the way it is approached is crucial. MeLine knows this like no other and thus not only ensures clear skin without pigmentation spots, but also prevents the reappearance of pigmentation spots by continuing the correct protocol at home. Getting results is one thing, but maintaining them is just as important. And that’s where MeLine’s home care products come in.

Home care products play the leading role when it comes to:

  • the recurrence of pigmentation
  • the enlargement of residual pigment spots
  • darkening of deeper pigmentation spots
  • suppress activity of melanogenesis, the enzyme that activates pigment

Tranexamic acid

Tranexamic acid (TXA) mimics Hydroquinone to some extent without putting the melanocytes “to sleep. The latter does happen when Hydroquinone is used: there is a reason why Hydroquinone should only be used temporarily. Uncontrolled and unlimited use can lead to definitive and dangerous consequences, which is why it should only be used under a doctor’s supervision. Tranexamic acid does provide the clarifying effect but does not produce any harmful effects. In fact, inflammatory reactions in the skin become less thanks to Tranexamic acid. Because of this, TXA (Tranexamic acid) is able to prevent the entire melanogenesis process and thus has a very smart approach in preventing, but also solving the pigment problem. Pigment accumulations are a result of chronic inflammatory reactions in the skin. By counteracting this inflammatory response, Tranexamic acid is effective in treating pigmentation both epidermally and dermally: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31141852/

TXA in skincare

MeLine has incorporated Tranexamic acid into several home care products with 2 products playing a crucial role: MeLine Day & MeLine Night. These 2 products also exist in the variant for darker skin types which work more gently. But what exactly does TXA do when used at home? Actually, the effect of Tranexamic acid is simply to prevent inflammatory reactions. Because there are no inflammatory reactions in the cells, the pigment cells do not go into defense, so no pigment is produced. And what you don’t create, you don’t have to treat. So do you want pigmentation spots to stay away even in the long run? Tranexamic acid it is!

MeLine Day

This serum exists in two variants (for lighter and toned skin) that has a surprisingly wide range of effectiveness against the appearance of pigmentation spots. Tranexamic acid acts as an anti-inflammatory, preventing pigment production from being triggered and minimizing redness and sensitivity of the skin. This inhibits the melanogenesis process at the core, thus preventing the appearance of pigment. This product also contains blue light protection which prevents one of the biggest contributors to low-grade cell inflammation and photo damage of the skin. Research proves that one of the biggest contributors to pigmentation (even after treating pigmentation effectively) is blue light exposure. With consistent use of MeLine Day, the so-called “rebound” of pigmentation spots (the reappearance of pigmentation spots) is prevented. So think you’re done with pigmentation spots after treating them with faithful use of sun protection every day? Think twice, because no maintenance with MeLine Day means they will reappear sooner or later.

30ml €99

Meline Night

MeLine Night also exists in two variants with the same focus: regulating cell division that not only makes the skin smooth and even, but also breaks up remaining pigment cells. Let’s start by saying that a pigmentation problem is a metabolic problem and we cannot cure it. No one (including the dermatologist) has the knowledge or products for this. Pigment production and distribution will forever be balanced and created cells will need to be drained and that is what MeLine Night literally does. Ingredients such as Azelaic Acid, Arbutin and Retinal work together in synergy to make the chronic pigment problem invisible.

30 grams €119

MeLine Day & Night are inseparable products that successfully treat the entire pigment problem, from the core to keeping away already treated pigment. These two products work the same on everyone if applied correctly. Sometimes before starting a treatment to increase the skin’s resistance, but always during and after a MeLine treatment course, they ensure a flawless future.

Exosomes are proven effective messengers to cells when it comes to recovery from trauma or its consequences. They are similar to balloons that are able to track and repair damage. The science about exosomes comes from medicine and is a lifesaving component of stem cell therapy for certain cancers, among other things. Meanwhile, it is also being applied in aesthetic dermatology. There is no doubt about it: exosomes have anti-inflammatory effects, reduce redness and pigmentation as well as rejuvenate the skin.

I can’t remember the last time I delved into a subject as long and wide as exosomes. Obviously for a reason…

Exosomes are incredibly effective when properly applied, are considered a panacea by the literature and have an unprecedentedly powerful status within medicine. Even within aesthetic dermatology, it looks like exosomes are going to become indispensable. I am excited, and so are all the manufacturers because the trend has not been around for a year and the various exosomes are already flying around your ears. But one kind is not the other and there are many differences, about which more information later in this article.

I was informed by ExoCoBio, a Korean company and world leader in the field of production and applications with exosomes. As the first laboratory worldwide specializing in exosome-based medical devices, they have more than enough scientific reports to explain the effectiveness of exosomes like no other.

During Sure Medical’s visit with Mr. Byong Seung Cho, CEO of ExoCoBio and his colleague JB, I had the pleasure of learning all the inns & outs about exosomes. This passionate scientist knows like no other how to explain the effect of treatment with exosomes and why we cannot live without exosomes anymore. I was flabbergasted…

Mr. Cho’s explanation was (in summary) as follows: exosomes ensure proper cell communication and are able to address each individual cell. They are much smaller than the cell itself and are therefore able to detect and quickly repair trauma in the skin. Where other ingredients in cosmetics kindly request the skin to behave differently, exosomes linearly instruct what the cell should do, which manifests itself in fast and effective results. Exosomes have a wide range of uses: their effect varies from a calming effect to promoting skin repair and from a pigment regulating effect to collagen stimulation. ExoCoBio’s exosomes contain about 400 types of lipids, 600 types of miRNA (non-identical RNA, so not human), 1000 growth factors and various proteins. This powerful combination rejuvenates cell division, maintains a healthy skin barrier, brightens the skin, suppresses itching and dermatitis, and maintains an ideal moisture and fat balance in the skin. ExoCoBio’s scientific reports don’t lie: they have the most scientific evidence worldwide on their exosomes which they have launched under the brand name ASCEplus. This stands for Advanced Skincare Complex from exoCoBio.

Exosomes from stem cells

Stem cells produce exosomes: so they are not the same thing. Not only humans, but also animals and plants have stem cells, and thus also exosomes. Human stem cells from their own cells and tissues (autologous stem cells) contain exosomes and are widely used in the medical (including aesthetic) world. One example is stem cell treatments from one’s own fat cells for a rejuvenating effect, or stem cell therapy from bone marrow after chemotherapy for serious blood diseases. Allogeneic exosomes (cells from someone else’s umbilical cord or baby’s foreskin, for example) are banned for aesthetic purposes in the EU, but are used outside the EU in some countries. These cells can cause an immune reaction and are therefore not safe according to EU guidelines. The same applies to animal DNA: it is not prohibited, but it is questionable. What I do find remarkable is that there are countries where allogeneic stem cell treatments (including exosomes) are widely used. I then wonder if an immune response never arises there, but that aside.

Also, there are now “fake” exosomes: extract from colostrum, for example, is sold as exosomes, which has absolutely nothing to do with exosomes. So be well informed about the source of exosomes.

And then we have plant stem cells.

ExoCoBio has managed to circumvent all these dangers by extracting stem cells (i.e., exosomes) from the Damascus rose. The DNA of this rose variety is well tolerated by humans and can be processed well into exosomes. Launched under the name ASCEplus, these exosomes offer the highest quality solutions for various skin problems such as stressed or sensitive skin, acne skin, hyperpigmentation, chronically inflamed skin such as rosacea or sun-damaged skin with wrinkles and sagging. In a considerably short time, various skin conditions such as dry or dehydrated skin with different types of imbalance from cell division are addressed. And hooray, it works!

How does ASCEplus work?

ASCEplus’ exosomes are composed of PRDXs for regeneration, let-7b against cell inflammation and CD44 for better absorption by the skin. This creates a skin rejuvenating effect with an improved skin barrier and cell division that is balanced. These three effects are inseparable when it comes to a lasting skin rejuvenating and skin improving effect where the art is to first balance the skin, then the skin rejuvenates itself.

So no foreign substances are added to the skin, but the skin is put into action to repair trauma and its consequences itself. With this, ASCEplus exosomes belong to the latest generation of pro-aging philosophy: a body-friendly treatment method that addresses all facets of skin problems and skin aging from the core (literally).

Skin and hair

ASCEplus has 3 products for professional use, namely for skin, hair and the intimate area. All products consist of a freeze-dried powder and a liquid, which are only mixed before use. A mixed product should be used within two days. In our experience, exosomes combined with SylfirmX RF microneedling on face and body gives remarkable results. The redness subsides quickly, refinement in skin texture is remarkable and the skin rejuvenating effect is (also according to other users) many times faster.

ASCEplus skincare

For the skin specialist who wants the maximum achievable result, ASCEplus has developed a soothing and caring fleece mask for after a treatment. This also considered a piece of experience: the soft rose scent still puts a smile on my face and reminds me of my mother….

For the continuation of a professional treatment with ASCEplus exosomes, there is ExoBalm for home use. This ExoBalm from ASCEplus is designed to intensively nourish and restore the skin as a cure after intensive skin treatments such as microneedling or RF microneedling with SylfirmX The ASCEplus ExoBalm can be perfectly combined with an already used and full-fledged skincare routine such as for example from Synergie Skin. You can find more information about Synergie Skin via this link.

ASCeplus’ skincare products deserve an article of their own, which will follow soon.

Safe and effective

Are you a physician or skin specialist looking for a proven effective treatment that directly addresses the cell? With all the effective skin treatments like laser, IPL, (RF) microneedling and peels, inflammation is the biggest enemy ever. ASCEplus knows how to tackle this like no other with their exosomes. With all their scientific data and strong partner Sure Medical, you are assured of quality, effectiveness and safety. More info? www.suremedical.nl

Injectables and fillers are a daily business for cosmetic doctors. The demand for minimally invasive aesthetic treatments is growing by the day: the desire to look young and radiant is greater than ever. Unfortunately, we also live in a time where we see plenty of how fillers and injectables can make you look less attractive. Much too thick lips, no expression in the face or the so-called pillow-face: making yourself look beautiful can turn ugly. In addition, filling wrinkles and restoring volume to the face does not have a skin-improving or skin-rejuvenating effect: it takes much more than that.

Dermafiller

A confusing name for an all-encompassing treatment. Let’s face it: when you hear the word filler, you think of a treatment where wrinkles are filled in locally or when corrections in volume or contour are made. In this case it is not, because the filling of the skin counts as a temporary side effect that lasts 3-4 months (not bad either, by the way). DermaFiller is all about the long-term effect: a lasting rejuvenating and skin-improving result. So do you want a sustainable investment in younger skin in optimal condition? Then read on, because as complicated as this story is: it is the future!

Safe and bodily

Cellenis is the market leader in PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) for both the cosmetic and medical industries. And if anything is safe, it is body’s own (autologous) cells. The body’s own blood plasma is used to repair tissue (in this case, skin) and stimulate cell division, causing collagen and elastin to restructure themselves over time. It sounds simpler than the process actually is, but essentially it comes down to your own body doing the work. So no strange products with synthetic additives, but purely your own blood cells.

Fillers and skin boosters

Nothing is easier than injecting a ready-made filler into the skin: an opinion shared by many cosmetic doctors. But what does a ready-made filler do to the condition of the skin? Nothing at all, except maybe a little hydration, but that’s all. Skin boosters stick to administering supplementation and a moisturizer (hyaluronic acid) to the skin: a quick fix for drier, dehydrated skin with incipient lines and wrinkles. But what if you also suffer from sensitive skin, scars, pigmentation spots, or have skin that is completely out of balance? Just then, blood plasma is the solution. It not only increases your moisture level, but improves all vital skin functions. At least, if you have patience….

Trust the process

It takes some preparation, but then you have something. After blood is drawn (11 or 22 ml, depending on how many areas you want to treat), it is centrifuged. Normally a distinction is made between growth factors (which are injected into the skin in the form of PRP) and a non-usable part that is discarded. In this case, however, nothing is discarded; the unusable part is heated and mixed with the PRP, after which the whole becomes a gel-like substance. This gel substance is used to rejuvenate and reset the skin by injecting the drug evenly into the area to be treated.

Instant results

The immediate results are remarkable: lines look less deep and the skin looks firmer. There is no downtime, although a small bruise may be unavoidable. A warm feeling in the treated area is normal and disappears after a few hours. The skin-enhancing effect on pigmentation, redness, scars and the like takes 3 to 6 weeks. The most ideal is to undergo the treatment twice a year with an interval of 3-4 months. The result obtained in skin rejuvenation remains visible for 6-8 months, while results in skin improvement last up to a year and a half.

Full face, full body

Now in the Netherlands, it often remains to treat the face, neck and décolleté, and occasionally the hands. But Cellenis PRP is also perfect for hair loss, cellulite and body tightening. Where normally large amounts of materials are required for body treatments, in this case they are not. This also makes the prices of the treatments very acceptable.

Pro-aging

The latest trend in the anti-aging world tells us that aging is no longer a punishment, but a privileged position. The days of a super tight face with overstuffed contours are no longer desirable. The biggest fear of many doctors is the so-called pillow-face. More and more treatments require a complete approach when it comes to skin rejuvenating and skin improving treatments. Somewhere in between is a whole new area, where people still want to look good and young, but in a completely natural way. People are increasingly opting for a body-friendly approach: no more foreign body products, but blood-derived, autologous cells for the most subtle and visible results. And that is exactly where Cellenis Dermafiller has succeeded.

ELT stands for Energizing Light Technology and combines an immediate, luxurious experience with longer-term anti-aging benefits. That we get a better state of mind from light I don’t have to prove: everyone knows that. Especially after an effective facial, a piece of experience through light is the icing on the cake. But according to science, light does much, much more. Who am I to contradict this, but I don’t really understand it. So besides having tested the ELT by Beautyangel for over 3 months, I have also studied the effects of light. And not the light from the Christmas tree, but specifically LED light for use in the aesthetic dermatology industry. We’ve named the bit about uplifting and relaxing effects, and I won’t go further into that. But the effects on skin problems and in skin rejuvenation. And I can tell you: it was a chore, but very enlightening!

LED: light is power

Light makes life happen, and that too is nothing new. From plants to animals, everyone needs light and the best known source of light is our great friend and enemy: the sun. Let’s clarify things right away by explaining that ELT light is very different from sunlight and therefore also the well-known tanning bed. So all stories about light being harmful to the skin can be dismissed. ELT is not UV or infrared light and is therefore safe. In fact, research has shown that a certain amount of light works together with the skin, liver, kidneys and immune cells to create healthy defenses against disease. Healthy defenses are essential in protecting against disease but also energize your body. So have you ever wondered why you are tired in the winter? Then this may answer your question.

ELT by Beautyangel and collagen

Collagen banks, collagen lamps or collagen pills: the moment the word collagen is used, the interest in something increases, and fair is fair, everyone now knows how important collagen is when it comes to firm and tight skin. Whether it’s less wrinkles, smoother skin or healing wounds, collagen is magic. On the other hand, we know that you don’t just create collagen in the skin, and even collagen intake is not as simple as it seems. Promoting collagen production is a slow process and takes time. In addition, the skin only makes collagen after the skin has been damaged in a controlled way, such as peels or microneedling.

Collagen stimulating treatments

Often you think of the not-too-delicious treatments, but there is a purpose and it works. Redness, downtime and temporarily sensitive skin you take for granted because you want healthy skin with a younger look. Even though I give these types of treatments every day and even organize trainings in them, I have always been looking for methods to give the skin more love after the treatment. A soothing mask or a massage: something of a sweet gesture or touch (this time without needles) is often appreciated. And yet it does not immediately have the calming effect I wanted as a skin specialist.

ELT by Beautyangel soothes the skin

Whether you’ve had a microneedling treatment, a hefty peel or have been pampered by your skin specialist: ELT by Beautyangel adds to your skin treatment in every way. Whether your skin is in overdrive due to a harsh treatment, has reacted a little too sensitively to a product or you want to offer your client a moment of rest and experience: ELT by Beautyangel is all-encompassing and soothes the skin. Something I still don’t understand, but experience speaks and it really is true!

What exactly does ELT by Beautyangel do?

Ever heard of ATP in cells? ATP is super important for all cells, including the cells in the skin. Let me explain: the cell is the thing where everything starts. All tissue is made up of cells and each cell in turn consists of various indispensable substances through which metabolism functions properly. For example, the ATP in the cell is responsible for everything that costs the cell energy and effort. In other words: ATP is for the cell the universal, energy-rich fuel for all processes (in this case in the skin). As soon as we talk about skin damage in any form (think not only cosmetic treatments but also burns or scars) a lot of energy from the healthy cells is needed to repair the trauma. In other words, more ATP is needed….

ELT by Beautyangel and ATP in the skin

ELT by Beautyangel works on the basis of a light spectrum of 570 to 850 nanometers. Probably this tells you nothing and is abracadabra but this means that the light is filtered so that all light that comes on and in the skin is safe, works from the inside (think of the ATP needs of the skin) and also according to science is able to replenish the ATP needs of the skin. In other words: under the influence of the right light a chemical reaction occurs in which your skin itself produces more ATP. It is therefore ideal after intensive treatment, soothing the skin immediately and helping it to recover quickly.

Collagen stimulation by light

Fibroblasts are responsible for the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid but again, it is not that simple. Now that we know that all cells (including fibroblasts) need ATP we also know that by incorporating ELT by Beautyangel activate the fibroblasts making them better able to fuel collagen. Like all collagen-stimulating treatments, it is a long-term investment but has scientifically proven effectiveness. Add to that the short-term benefits of calm skin with accelerated recovery, no downtime and a better mood after a treatment and the antword is simple: ELT by Beautyangel has absolute added value.

NAD+: the latest trend in skin care and health. Perhaps you follow developments in healthy aging closely and have recently read or heard something about NAD+. A hype that was suddenly there, claiming to turn back time and perhaps helped a bit by Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber taking an infusion of NAD+ in a TV episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “I’ll take NAD+ for the rest of my life and always stay young,” Bieber told viewers afterward.

NAD+

NAD+ is more than just TV star hype or a buzzword in social media. Its full name is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and it is an essential coenzyme found in truly every cell in your body. NAD+’s main job is to generate energy in your cells. In addition, NAD+ regulates cell functions and is able to repair DNA. In other words, if you have a high NAD+ level in your body, it means you have a lot of cell energy and your cells are functioning optimally. It also means that your body can repair itself faster. After all, that also requires energy. This keeps your organs, including your skin (remember… your skin is your largest organ) in top condition. Again, we publish an article with a lot of depth for people who want more in-depth information about the connection between health, vitality and skin. It’s a long article with the full energy put into it. And when you talk about energy, NAD+ is indispensable. Off we go…

A new kind of health: cellular health

Talk about peak fitness… In a way, the focus on NAD+ has created a new kind of health. Already had physical health and mental health, now cellular health is added. A form of health that requires an entirely unique approach. Right yes … at the cellular level.

And while you probably haven’t thought too much about the health of your cells until now, they deserve your full attention. After all, you have about 36 trillion of them. In case you now think a cell is the smallest particle in your body … think again!

A cell is a system unto itself, with an important task for the mitochondria

You can think of a cell as a city, a mini-ecosystem, with thousands of even smaller particles in each cell – we call them “organelles” – each with its own function. One particular kind of organelle is the mythochondrion whose special job is to generate the energy the cell needs to function. Think of it as the city’s power plant. Depending on a cell’s function, it contains more or fewer mitochondria. You can imagine that your muscle cells need much more energy than your skin cells. And not only that: some people (like me) also need more energy than others. To be continued…

Back to mitochondria

Those tiny power plants in your cells also need maintenance. And that’s precisely where NAD+ comes into play again. Namely, NAD+ is capable of strengthening the mitochondria. There is only one problem…

Every 20 years, the NAD level in your body halves

Although your body naturally produces NAD+, as with so many things, the amount of NAD in your body decreases as you age. The rule of thumb here is that your NAD+ level halves every 20 years from birth. So by age 40, you have only 25% of your innate NAD+ level left. The result: less energy production in your cells and less cell repair. This leads to the much-hyped “symptoms of old age,” such as wrinkles, less energy and brain fog. So: it’s really not just the transition that causes your brain to short circuit….

With studies showing the health benefits of NAD+ (the plus indicates the “pure” form of NAD)(read them at this link), it’s easy to see why taking NAD+ supplements sounds appealing. But can you really turn back time with NAD+ supplements? In this article, I answer that question and also discuss my favorite NAD+ supplement with you.

Those same studies show that it is possible to bring your NAD+ levels back to a – let’s say “youthful” level – and thus rejuvenate the cells. In this way, it is possible to combat aging and age-related diseases.

How do you boost your NAD+ levels?

For starters. Avoid things that lower your NAD+ levels, such as unhealthy foods, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking and sun exposure. Choose foods that contain amino acids, such as broccoli and cabbage. Amino acids are precursors to NAD+. High-intensity training (HIIT) at the gym will boost your NAD+ levels. In fact, research has shown that adults who exercise intensively on a regular basis have NAD+ levels comparable to young adults(read the study at this link)

NAD+ supplements

In addition to a healthy lifestyle, supplements give you the best boost to your NAD+ levels. Clinical studies with mice in this area are promising. Although large-scale clinical studies with humans have not yet been conducted, there are promising studies that suggest NAD+ supplements have a wide variety of health benefits. From more energy, to sleeping better(read more here) and waking up more rested. From stronger nails to shinier hair. And last but not least, more collagen in your skin.

But Ahmet, surely you can just take collagen instead of NAD+!

That’s right. The difference is in where in the process you address the problem. If you want to give your skin a boost, you have to make sure that the skin gets healthy again at the cellular level. And that’s exactly what NAD+ does. Healthy cells are able to produce collagen on their own (through the fibroblasts), so you don’t need to replenish your collagen with supplements as much, if at all.

Infusion or pills?

NAD+ supplementation can be done in several ways. Research shows that an infusion is the most effective. It is also expensive (not everyone has the budget of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber) and, in addition, administering the infusion takes an hour all together. Faster and much more affordable is to swallow supplements containing NAD+, such as SynTernals NRgize+.

There is a little problem, though…

You cannot take pure NAD+ orally. This is because NAD+ is an unstable molecule that is broken down in your digestive system even before the molecule reaches your bloodstream. Never mind, therefore, that the molecule arrives at its final destination, at your cells. For this reason, most NAD+ pills contain so-called “precursors” of NAD+, such as nicotinamide riboside (NR) or nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN). Your cells then convert these precursors into NAD+ themselves.

Supercharge your cells with SynTernals NRgize+

NRgize+ was developed by Terri Vinson Jones, biological scientist and founder of SynTernals. Terri is also the mastermind behind the Australian skin care brand Synergy Skin. NRgize+ claims (and I can now tell you from personal experience that this claim is absolutely fulfilled) that it gives more energy, improves your metabolism and nutrient absorption, supports your nervous system and protects and keeps your cells healthy. And that also benefits your skin. For that matter, so does the scale, because with more energy and more exercise, you lose excess fluid and fat.

SynTernals NRgize+ is a potent blend of nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinamide (N), both precursors to NAD+. The blend also includes resveratrol and antioxidants. Terri explains: “I developed NRgize+ to provide an innovative combination of ingredients that will keep your cellular health optimal from the inside out, for as long as possible. Cell health is key to the health of your entire body and your vitality. If individual cells are healthy, so are your organs and body systems.”

NRgize+ is vegan, gluten-free and contains no traces of nuts. This makes this supercharger of your cells also suitable for people with dietary restrictions or certain religious standards. You use NRgize+ twice a day, one capsule at a time. And really, it will make you happy!
